The colouristic home of the artist
The Art Photographer Frederikke keeps the walls in her apartment white and the base calm, whereas she has added colour with both her own and other colleagues art objects; and flavour with quite a few inherited pieces and other old furniture that she has found at flea markets throughout the years.
Her apartment is used as an art gallery and a lot of the art and other decorative items in her home are the results of exchanges with other artists. Artists she also sometimes opens her home for, for them to stay, and to get inspired by them.
Monica´s world
Work-wise, the Danish artist and designer Monica has changed jobs many times. But the home has been the same for the past 30 years. Her furniture and art is everywhere in the apartment. The kitchen is brand new and her own design. Sofa and cushions are upholstered with fabric she has designed. And coffee tables are prototypes of the new table series "Airborne," which she has just launched in cooperation with the Danish furniture company "Eilersen".
