Christmas decorations inspired by nature
When Christmas is approaching it can be fun choosing a theme. Nature has many wonderful materials, colors, textures and forms that you can be inspired by, either in the garden, in a nearby park or in the woods. You can find naked branches, pine cones, moss and pieces of wood and put it together with other types of wood, large wooden beads, rustic twine, paper and cardboard. It can be really nice to blend natural elements with newly purchased Christmas decorations, or together with grandma's old Christmas balls, but still stick to a particular theme.

If you are lucky to have a hazelnut bush in your garden, you can harvest them in September, let them dry in a warm room for a few weeks and then store them in a tin for the coming Christmas.
