This is an old weekend cottage that has been rebuilt several times. The family has built a new kitchen and bathrooms. Everything is painted with paints from Farrow & Ball. Bathroom tiles are from Made a Mano and the same goes for the table top and tiles in the kitchen. The family has chosen very simple Christmas decorations.
X-mas in Nordic New York style
Vintage, classic furniture and modern design blends into a personal and operational base for the little family. Nature, Scandinavian simplicity, colors and graphic lines are the characteristics of the style. The family does not have decorations all over the house even though the have lots of boxes with Christmas decorations. Instead Marie likes to come up a new theme for every Christmas. Some of the decorations are hand made by female emigrants in Copenhagen.
Expressive villa apartment - Christmas
It is a charming house surrounded by tree in the middle of the city. When the couple moved in they had to renovate the apartment completely. In the bedroom they had a carpenter built a clever solution with a cabinet wall around the bed and in the kitchen they installed two long sections of cabinets to make the most of the space there and keep the window. The family enjoys Christmas and keep the decorations in natures colors.
