Information: A mix of design classics, antiques and decorations gives this house a personal touch. "It was the English cottage style, the little unconventional details and the big bright windows with views to the trees we fell for." After the renovation of the house the family thinks that it is the kitchen that is the best room. It is a place for gathering the family but also the loggia outside is fantastic to use all year long. They use it as a spare room not matter what the weather is like and it is charmingly decorated with furs, pillows and blankets. Many years ago Kathrine started to decorate the windows in the kitchen with steel wires and each wire has memories from travels, the children's creations or decorations they have received over time and a little new is added every year. In a large glass vase branches with small cones and small wooden Christmas stars are used for decorations. “We have two trees: a fake one and a real one. It is very child-friendly. The decorations are gathered over time and when we don´t celebrate Christmas at home we use the “fake everlasting” tree. Which also makes it possible to enjoy the decorations for longer time.
