Information: It is a blended family so there are no old traditions, but they have started a new tradition where they must make a new Christmas tree every year and this year it has been a Lego year. "We've made some jewelry with Lego, so of course the Christmas decorations had to be in Lego!". The two oldest children love it when the two youngest think that Christmas should be more traditional. The family is very fond of Christmas, but they prefer to have a small exceptional selection of Christmas decorations.
They decorate at the end of November or beginning of December and the girls and Kirstine bake cookies and makes sweets. It's a large family so there is often a large table for lots of people in the dining room. The Christmas plates are a heirloom and are used throughout the month of December for lunch and rice pudding. Many of the things the family has in the apartment are bought at flea markets and on the internet at Laurtiz.com. The orange dog is a joint Christmas present this years and it is found in Paris.
