Mai Joo Raagard
Nikolaj and Joo own a flower shop in Hörsholm and for them Christmas is a time to decorate the apartment beautifully. They bought the apartment in 2004 and it has been carefully renovated so today there is an open kitchen and dining room that is the central place in the apartment. The couple travels a lot and lives in international luxury hotels and this has inspired them to decorate their home with a feeling of this hotel style which they emphasis by using furniture of a high quality, good design and luxurious details in the kitchen and bathroom. For Joo and Nikolaj the Christmas means using beautiful flowers and wreaths which they like to be big and sumptuous.
Mette Reinholdt
The Danish flag is essential for the Christmas decoration in this house because three of the children have birthdays in December. Mette likes to use nature materials for decorations such as moss, leaves, branches and cones. And with 5 children, her own shop and birthdays the Christmas decorations have to be easy to make.
Anette Egholm
Christmas with a touch of Indochina. In Annette’s work and private life she has two major sources of inspiration: the French and Vietnamese. It is very important for Anette that there is room for history in a house; it can be things you have inherited, flea market findings or other things that brings atmosphere to a home and expresses the personality of the people who lives there. She likes to mix things from different time periods and colors.
Michael Andersen
