Kelim, art and ceramics
The home is characterized by the great interest in design, ceramics and ethnic handicrafts. Carpets and fabrics decorate every room, usually in combination with simple design classics and unique crafts. "Even in the kitchen, I love to have kelim on the floor, it breaks up the modern elements in a beautiful way and if you choose a convenient color can easily work together" says Sara.
Romance by the sea
Along the water's edge, Tina and Jonas have created a beautiful home. In itself, the house is not impressive - here are low ceilings and the house is small, but the location is superior so everything else is unimportant. "Because here are low ceilings it works well with a long dining table with many chairs lined up and the wallpaper pattern go upwards which visually has an enhancing effect" Tina says. The basic colour scheme is dusty pink, cream and soft brown shades..
Classic qualities
The couple loves classic design and antiques, which are reflected throughout the home. Especially the kitchen has undergone major changes. Now is the perfect base for family cooking. Merete always had an interest in cooking.
Pernille & Vagn
Over 13 years, Pernille and Vagn modernized and restored their beautiful old mansion in Odense, so the villa now appears exactly as they dreamed from the beginning. "We have modernized with an emphasis on maintaining the building's original character. We did get professional help, but carried out much of the work ourselves" tells the couple. Almost all house chandeliers come from France. "For us it is important to surround ourselves with things that have a history and that makes us happy, "says Pernille who is originally from Norway, and part of the furniture in the house is also heirlooms from her Norwegian family.
House in funky factory style
Jeanette calls their style for ”Factory Classic” – the classic comes in the house and the furniture but to remove the feminine elements in she uses old French factory style to mix.
