The basic colour scheme is grey, black and white. This is handy when you want to move around the furniture and pictures. The house looks like a million but it has not been expensive to decorate the house. Take for example the kitchen - it is from IKEA and has costed 1900euro. They have complemented it with a natural stone countertop. "It was important for me to make the rooms cozy here, to give the rooms some character, some personality and I was immediately aware that it would not work to paint it all white and let the old planks left untreated. The house almost screamed at the colors and contrasts " says Pauline.
Flair for colors
Very quickly you become aware that a person with an exceptional good sense of color live here. The colors are beautifully matched from cool greys to light mocca. It connects the rooms and furniture and the many collections of china you find in the house. In the basement of the house Birgitte has her studio.
Family house – Bodrum
This house in Bodrum (Turkey) is actually an extension of an existing, old stone house. For the English owner it was important that the result of the decoration would give room for a real family house: practical, light and enjoyable to live in.
