Kirsten Bjarrum
The family found an old hens house (12m2) that they had transported to the newly bought ground by the Sejerø bay. For a long time this was their summer house. 15 years ago when it got too small they built the net house they called ”the childrens house” (23m2) that is shaped like a pyramid. Later on when the grand kids arrived they built the third house they call “Kirstens house”. This house is only 2,5 meters side but 5 meters high so it seems a lot bigger than it really is. The ground is only 10 meters wide. The family likes simplicity and nature.
Karina Holmen – Copenhagen
Modern grandmother style. To Karina the trend of the time is not so important. It is more about surrounding oneself with things one is happy with and to think creatively when one is mixing new and old. See how she has furnished her own little flat on Vesterbro.
House + house + house = Home
The home consists of three buildings and each building was separated into smaller home. In total are was seven small homes and Annemie and Jan has renovated it all and created this gorgeous home. The houses form a U-shape, with a courtyard in the middle, and Jan and Annemie wanted to renovate them all, with respect for the original character of the buildings.
Gastronomy in the center
After having considered some possibilities, Rasmus conceived the idea that the new kitchen should be placed in the heart of the house, in the big hall. Now they have created a good meeting point in the house.
Catherine´s house
Catherine runs her own mail order company from her home office/studio. They bought the property 5 years ago and have put in a new kitchen and bathroom and completely re decorated the entire house. Catherine´s style is a mix and match, the living room has a grand feel, where her office/studio is fun and colourful.
