She spends a lot of time finding the right things for the home and if she finds beautiful things for the home she often buy them even though she will not use them now but save them for later. Marie is a collector and several of her things has been placed at families and friend houses.

Dorthe and Richard both have opinions about the interior decoration and they discuss all solutions. They aim at mixing the old and more modern interiors. As an example is the old French chandelier combined with Philippe Starcks plastic chairs in the dining room.

Natasha prefers the old houses because they are easier to give a personal touch than the modern ones with huge windows. She used one year for renovating the apartment. She spend weeks finding the right wall colors. She wanted dark colors because it emphasizes the light from the windows.

The family lived in this type of house in the UK for 14 years. They have decided for an international style and with respect for the house original architecture. The years spend in the UK has given the couple a greater interest in colors and wallpapers. They get the inspiration from exclusive hotels, restaurants, shops and showrooms around the world – places where you will find the latest interior decorating ideas. They also had help from the British interior decorator Rabih Hage. The dining table is by the Dutch designer Piet Hein Eek.
