A perfect match – wall papers
The couple are wallpaper designers and in their home they continuously try to put new colours together and almost everything can be moved so they have the possibility to rearrange. They try to keep a flow of colours that can be a bit surprising but the shades have to be connected and then create an interesting composition.
A romantic dream
The home is Louise’s romantic dream and it is difficult to see the masculine touch of her husband but he is ok with that. Louise has worked as a model and therefore lives in Paris for many years. This results in the French bohemian style in combination with Nordic Gustavian style.
Faithful to the English style
The house was designed after the English style as a sort of "town-houses" with high basement with kitchen and rooms for servants, and an exterior staircase leading to ground floor. When the famliy moved in they wanted to renovate the house with respect for the original architecture but make it more functional for a modern life. They have a med a large Kitchen/common room of 75m in the lower floor and this is where the family spend most time.
Gentleman´s studies
Frederik has live in the apartment for 12 years and has decorated the home with a combination of antiques and modern furniture and this created a unique look together with the nature materials like wood and leather. Frederik thinks it is important to have a home that is relaxed and with clean lines.
Pernille´s transformed apartment
Many years ago Pernille inherited an apartment but it was rented by a woman and when she died after many years Pernille moved in. But it was in very poor condition and it needed a good deal of renovation. A wall was removed and created space for a kitchen and dining room in one in the middle of the apartment and a new bathroom was created in the old kitchen.
