Christian and Mille have designed their own private retreat where they relax with walks by the sea, baking his grandmother's donuts or simply doing nothing. There has been paid attention to details in the cottage. When they bought the house 10 years ago, it was only 56 square meters. Since then walls have been moved, doors reversed, dress lockers demolished and rebuilt and the entire house has grown by just over 20 square meters.
Clay house
The house is built of clay and straw and it is an annex and used by their guests. The couple built the house by themselves.
English country house in Denmark
The surrounding nature is absolutely beautiful: the forest in the backyard, green meadows as neighbor and a house straight out of the English countryside with large rose bushes along the walls. When Carsten and Pia saw the house for the first time that thought it looked like something from a fairytale. Bathroom, kitchen and windows were still the original ones. Oak wood floor was in a beautiful herringbone pattern, which was established in 1948, and in the garden were large rose bushes, which could easily have been planted when the first garden surrounding the house was built close to 60 years ago.
Gamche - Nepal
Just outside the densely populated capital of Kathmandu, is a small wonderful guesthouse, Gamche. Here are vigor surroundings, and an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation. The house is original and painted inside with Nepal inspired patterns. Every day, farmers from the surrounding area some and sell organic vegetables, eggs and milk for the kitchen. The food is served on plates and bowls from a local potter. Gamche is managed by mr. Depack who is Nepalese and has worked as a guide for tourists for many years, so here is great opportunity to get help to see Nepal first hand.

Between collections, vip customers and fashion shows designer Signe renovates the apartment. With her own hands she has added the old rooms plenty of nostalgia and Parisian charm so it matches her own image of an open and personal home. “When I entered the apartment the first time I felt at home right away. The mood is slightly like Paris where I have lived and I love the high-ceilinged rooms and the original old look as I have tried to preserve because it is impossible to recreate. I started to renovate the kitchen because it was practical with 2 kids in everyday life and has just finished my own bedroom. It is an ongoing process".
