For the third time in 10 years, Rikke renovated an apartment from AZ; two in Copenhagen and one in Amsterdam. Every time she chooses a new kitchen and bath from Kvänum and a color scheme out of the ordinary. Her favorite furniture and all the lamps are moved from place to place. "I always look for a place that is run down and where I can give it my own style.”

The backyard is next to an area with wild nature and there is plenty of scenery and nice environment for children and adults. Julie and David have decorated the home so it is a functional, comfortable and relaxed base for the whole family. "It is important that there is room for both kids and adults. Especially we like the our kitchen, we can all be together and bake, cook, eat, do homework, draw, play games, swing, watch television and surf the net "says Julie.

In the bathroom Karen has carried out an old idea of hers: a mosaic made of old tiles collected all over the world and the result is unique.

Amalie has decorated the apartment in a feminine yet whimsical style. Her love of second hand and retro is very obvious in the décor. Notice the table top in the kitchen which she and a friend has made as a mosaic from recycled lacquered wood. She has the idea from the Dutch designer Piet Hein Eek who has had great international success with his dining table with the same look.
