Log in cabin in Klampenborg
In the winter the house reminds you of a ski lodge. From May to September the house is rather like a summer house. “So we are actually always on holiday” says the house owners. A dark and cozy winter living room with fireplace, beamed walls and ceilings. Personal and interesting effects, great-grandfather's cross-country skis on the wall and the old toboggan used as a coffee table, create intimacy and give the room history and personality. In contrast to the winter room, the couple arranged a light summer living room with cool colors, white walls, light furniture and modern art.

Weekend cottage with terrace
The interior decoration of cottage is a broad mix of furniture that came with the house, and has been painted and a lot of quirky flea market findings from local flea markets' When we bought the house I lived in a large villa and was very conscious about design and everything should match. So this was like a sanctuary where things were more relaxed and where most things have a history because they are found on holidays and bring memories.” It is very important for Charline to have a home where everybody are welcome.
Wild and wonderful Columbines
Columbines are beautiful plants with a charming, nostalgic touch. In addition, they are super easy to grow in the garden. Once you have columbines in the garden, they'll stay because the plants put a lot of seed, and thereby comes the lovely plants up here and there and give your garden a wild and natural look. Flower color varies and when plants are crossed among themselves, flowers continually come in new colors and shapes. The flowers are gorgeous in the garden, but also very lovely in bouquets.
My wild summer paradise
As a showcase Susanne´s cottage opens up towards the sky and sea and the wild nature that surrounds the house. The view is superb and the light fantastic - for painting and to get the energy back far away from the city's artificial light and noise. Six years ago, painter Susanne had her dream of a cottage built with floor to ceiling windows with a view to large protected areas and views of sea and sky. Outside the house is covered with cedar wood that blends with the surrounding wild nature. Inside the house is almost ascetic decorated with simple concrete floors, white walls and a few Asian furniture.
