Neel Jensen
The style is contemporary, simple and clean. The family put a great effort into choosing materials that goes with having 5 kids. The house is built for a reasonable price and on of the things they choose not to spend one on was an architect so they designed the house them selves. They were afraid that if they used an architect it wouldn´t be a practical house that works for a family of 7. They did choose to spend money on the huge concrete wall that dominates the inside of the house but they are happy with the result and they think it gives great value for money. Another thing that gives a feeling of luxury are the glass walls to one of the bathrooms.
An old stone house transformed

The architect’s weekend cottage
Flemming has designed the house himself and it is called The Sky House. Generally Flemming gets the inspiration from the history of architecture and not least from the nature. The inspiration to The Sky House is from South Africa where the natives built a shield when they made camp for the night and made the fire.
Berry bushes
In the middle of summer the first berry bushes begin to get the sweet and juicy berries, and the first berries, we can put the basket are red currants, black currant, gooseberries and raspberries. When the harvest of these berries has ended, the harvest of blueberries, blackberries and autumn raspberries start. If you grow a variety of berry bushes, it is possible to be self-sufficient in berries from July until frost puts an end to the season. Get ideas for growing the bushes (where they thrive, how to plant them, which varieties are good) the harvest and use of them.
